Privacy Policy

Effective September 8, 2026

Young Learners Inc., doing business as Young Learners’ Montessori (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates younglearnersartesia.com and provides early childhood education services in Artesia, California. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you submit an inquiry form on our website, complete a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, call or text us, or visit for a tour, we may collect:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number and email address
  • Your child’s first name and age or age range
  • Your scheduling preferences and any questions or comments you provide

Information collected through advertising platforms. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. If you submit one of Meta’s instant lead forms, Meta provides us with the contact information associated with your account that you confirm on that form, along with your answers to our questions. Meta’s own handling of your data is governed by Meta’s privacy policy, not this one.

Information collected automatically. Our website collects standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, through cookies and similar technologies. We use, or may in future use, analytics and advertising tools — including Google Analytics and the Meta pixel — to understand site traffic and measure the performance of our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Enrollment information. If your child enrolls, we collect the additional information required to provide care and comply with California licensing requirements, including emergency contacts, authorized pickup persons, and health and immunization records. That information is collected and maintained under our enrollment agreement and applicable law.

2. How We Use Your Information
  • To respond to your inquiry and contact you about tours, availability, and enrollment
  • To send you appointment details, reminders, and follow-up messages
  • To operate, maintain, and improve our website and programs
  • To measure and improve the performance of our advertising
  • To comply with legal, licensing, and record-keeping obligations
3. Text Messages and Phone Calls

When you provide your phone number through one of our forms, you agree that we may contact you by text message and by phone regarding tours, availability, and enrollment. We are not a marketing list and we do not send promotional blasts.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and we will stop sending them. You may ask us to stop calling at any time by telling us so, and we will honor that request.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers who help us operate — for example website hosting, email and text messaging tools, and scheduling or customer management software. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising platforms, where we use aggregated or hashed data to measure advertising performance.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or licensing authority, or where necessary to protect the safety of a child, our staff, or the public — including any mandated reporting obligation that applies to us as a licensed childcare provider.
  • Business transfer, if the school is sold or transferred, in which case information would move to the new operator subject to this policy.
5. How Long We Keep Information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return to us, and we keep enrollment records for the period required by California licensing rules and other applicable law. You may ask us to delete your inquiry information at any time using the contact details below.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, and be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. California residents may have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

To make a request, email us at Anu@younglearnersartesia.com or write to us at the address below. We will need enough information to verify your identity before we act on the request. You may also ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our website is directed to parents and guardians, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through our website or our advertising. Information about an enrolled or prospective child is provided to us by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided information to us through the website, contact us at Anu@younglearnersartesia.com and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website and our social media pages may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted here.
