KLE Society's School, Gadag, in collaboration with the CBSE Centre of Excellence (COE), Bengaluru, conducted an In-House Training Programme on "Mental Health and Wellness Among Students" on 6th June 2026 at the school premises.

The session was led by Mrs. Kalpana M. Chachadi, Principal, KLE School, Gadag, who highlighted the growing importance of mental health in the overall development of students. She emphasized the critical need for creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment where students feel valued, heard, and understood.

Key Highlights & Training Focus:

  • Identifying Emotional Distress: Sensitizing teachers to spot early signs of emotional distress and anxiety in students.
  • Promoting Positive Well-Being: Implementing actionable strategies for managing stress and fostering resilience among learners.
  • Strengthening Relationships: Practical techniques for building stronger teacher-student bonds and supporting social-emotional growth.
  • Interactive Experience Sharing: Engaging teachers in discussions on real classroom challenges and effective intervention methods.

The programme was highly informative and beneficial, equipping educators with the knowledge and skills required to support students' mental health effectively. The session concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to promote wellness and emotional well-being within the school community. National Education Policy :

A workshop and seminar was held for all the staff which was mandate for all the staff to participate right from kindergarten teachers to high school Co Scholastic teachers also expressed their views about the NEP in their own way integrating the subject with their skills.

Inter School Science and Sports Model Exhibition

Inter School Science and Sports Model Exhibition was conducted to bring awareness of sports and science among the children. Many schools participated in the competition and bagged prizes. Judges expressed that sports model exhibit competition was of unique feature which is conducted only by KLE School.
